Thursday, May 9th the Board of TELUS Corporation (TSE:T) announced a quarterly dividend increase of from C$0.3761 to C$0.3891 per share that’s payable July 2, 2024 to holders of record June 10, 2024. This represents a 3.46% increase over the last quarterly dividend.
It should be noted that this is the second increase in the last 12 months. In November 2023, TELUS increased quarterly dividend from C$ 0.3636 to C$ 0.3761 or 3.44%, bringing the annual increase to 7.0%.
With current price C$22.41 (yesterday's close), this raise brings their dividend yield to 6.95%.
Tuesday, May 7th the Board of Directors of Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) announced a monthly dividend increase of from $0.24 to $0.245 per share that’s payable July 15, 2024 to holders of record July 8, 2024. This represents a 2.08% increase over the last monthly dividend and a 6.5% increase from the regular monthly dividends paid in the third quarter of 2023.
In addition to the regular monthly dividends for the third quarter of 2024, the Board of Directors declared a supplemental cash dividend of $0.30 per share payable in June 2024.
With current price $50.70 (yesterday's close), this raise brings their dividend yield to 5.80%.

Today, May 3rd the Board of Directors of RTX Corporation (RTX) announced a quarterly dividend increase of from $0.59 to $0.63 per share that’s payable June 13, 2024 to holders of record May 17, 2024. This represents a 6.78% increase over the last quarter dividend.
"The growth of RTX's dividend reflects our confidence that our portfolio is strong and demand for our products continues to grow," said RTX President and CEO Chris Calio. "We are on track to return between $36 and $37 billion of capital to shareowners through dividends and share repurchases from the date of the merger through 2025."
With current price $101.89 (yesterday's close), this raise brings their dividend yield to 2.47%.
Tuesday, April 30th the Board of Directors of Unum Group (UNM) votes a quarterly dividend increase of from $0.365 to $0.42 per share effective with the dividend expected to be paid in the third quarter of 2024. This represents a 15.1% increase over the last quarterly dividend.
With current price $50.70 (yesterday's close), this raise brings their dividend yield to 3.31%.
